So simple but so effective. If you get a chance read the little book detailing the agreements. It is titled The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

Miss Rosie’s hubby is off on a ten day classic car cruise and Miss Rosie is going to join him for the last five days of the trip. The theme of the cruise is Tater Trotting as their trip goes through Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Montana. So Miss Rosie made hubby a Rosie Mascot for the trip. It’s OK to be Me and YOU to be YOU

How many years have I agonized over not desiring to be part of a group. How many years have I thought I had a problem. How many years have I made people uncomfortable because I didnt want to join in. It seems that in every instance someone has a comment……I could be sitting apart and someone says….you and your friends having a good time???? of course I am not sitting with anyone….I laugh..

I have come to understand that I relish my aloneness tempered with the love of my close family, my incredible husband and a very few close friends. I do not have a problem, the groups do not have a problem, we are just different.

So…it’s OK to be ME and You to be YOU but remember….in my case…..”normal is not an option”

Everyone Creates… No formal education required

Miss Rosie loves the free spirits who walk this earth who create, draw, paint,sculpt,write with wild abandon, who love their work, who love it’s imperfections, those who create for the shear joy and have no regard for what the public demands.

Art in whatever form can generate loud protests from the fearful, can be bold or soft, but most of all needs to satisfy the artist before anyone else. Creation of any substance in its purest form is an expression of the person’s identiy, dreams, hopes,experiences, fears, joys, and every other emotion known.

Miss Rosie cant seem to find a consensus about what constitutes “art” or who is, or who is not, an “artist”. but if you are a person who uses imagination, talent, or skill to create works that have an aesthetic value you probably are on the right track…..

Miss Rosie says….dont get trapped by a title…artist, craftsman, or whatever….. If you are doing something you love to do, it will show, you will be happy and you will never work a day in your life.

Letting Go…….

When was the last time that you didnt care when chocolate ice cream dripped down your arm and got all over your clothes. There is something to be said for letting go. You can wash your arm and your clothes and if the chocolate doesnt come off the clothes….it only can hurt if it was your $200 designer blouse…..Miss Rosie says….it’s easier to be carefree and happy if you are wearing clothes from the Goodwill and you are in the moment of how good the ice cream tastes and not worrying about your clothes…….
